Rowdio Event Texts
What the program is
Rowdio sends text messages on behalf of event organizers to people who registered or RSVP’d for a specific event and opted in. Messages include registration and RSVP confirmations, reminders before the event, day-of updates such as a time or location change, tee times for golf events, and a post-event follow-up such as results or photos.
Organizations on Rowdio, such as a school, league, or club, send from their own dedicated number. Personal events, such as a birthday party, send from a Rowdio number. Every message identifies the event and the host.
How you opt in
You opt in on an event’s registration or RSVP page by entering your mobile number and checking a box that is unchecked by default. Checking the box is optional and is never required to register, RSVP, or pay. The date, time, page, and the exact consent text you saw are stored with your registration. Consent is collected per organizer and is never shared with, sold to, or reused by another organizer.
Frequency and cost
Message frequency varies by event, typically a handful of messages between registration and the day after the event. Message and data rates may apply.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe from that sender. You will receive one confirmation and nothing further from that number. Because organizers send from their own numbers, stopping one organizer does not affect messages you have chosen to receive from another. Reply START to resubscribe.
How to get help
Reply HELP to any message, or contact help@rowdio.app. Include the number the message came from if you can.
Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and most regional carriers in the United States.
